Three new records of freshwater fishes (Cypriniformes Cyprinidae, Atheriniformes Phallostethidae and Perciformes Osphronemidae) from ThailandABSTRACT
A priapium fish, Neostethus lankesteri Regan, 1916 (Atheriniformes Phallostethidae) is newly recorded from the estuary of Maeklong Basin and estuary of Chao Phraya Basin, Central Thailand; the mouthbrooder betta, Betta prima Kottelat, 1994 (Perciformes Osphronemidae) is newly recorded from the small stream in Chonburi Province, East Thailand, and Rasbora daniconius (Hamilton, 1822) is a new record for Tenasserim Basin, west Thailand. Description and distribution data of the three freshwater fish are provided here. -

Rediscovery of the critically endangered cyprinid fish Epalzeorhynchos bicolor (Smith, 1931) from West Thailand (Cypriniformes Cyprinidae)ABSTRACT
In the present paper, we report on the critically endangered cyprinid fish, Epalzeorhynchos bicolor (Smith, 1931) “rediscovered” in Maeklong Basin, West Thailand. Moreover, distribution data and biological observations of this species are also provided. -

New data of the freshwater fish genera Laubuca Bleeker, 1860 (Cypriniformes Cyprinidae) and Phenacostethus Myers, 1928 (Atheriniformes Phallostethidae) in ThailandABSTRACT
In the present paper are reported, for Thailand, additional records of the cyprinid fish Laubuca siamensis Fowler, 1939 and priapium fish Phenacostethus smithi Myers, 1928 respectively from Mekong Basin, Meklong Basin, Southeast Basin and from upstream of Bangpakong Basin and Yom Basin. Description and distribution data of the two freshwater fishes are also provided. -

A new species of genus Laubuca Bleeker, 1860 cyprinid fish from Bangladesh (Cypriniformes, Cyprinidae)ABSTRACT
A new species of cyprinid fish (Cypriniformes, Cyprinidae), Laubuca brahmaputraensis n. sp. from Brahmaputra River, Bangladesh, is described. This species is distinguished from other species of genus Laubuca Bleeker, 1860 by the combination of the following characters: lateral line scales comprising 31-32 + 1-2 scales, transverse line scales of ½6-½7/ 1 / 2½ - 3½ scales, body depth ranging from 25.1 to 29.3 % Standard length (SL), pelvic fin not reaching beyond the anus, anal fin with 3 unbranched rays and 19½-20½ branched rays, black blotch above the pectoral fin base and no tubercles on lower jaw.
